ST☆RISH and QUARTET NIGHT are taking part in a solo concert project!
The star of the show sets a theme based on something they want to do, and then working together with another member they set out to surpass the boundaries of their group and put on an amazing show for the fans as a duo.
Reiji is super excited that his time in the spotlight has finally arrived, and Natsuki is more than ready to offer him the support he needs. Reiji’s aim is to provide the audience with a performance that is both exciting and moving. Let yourself be thrilled by his free-flowing performance and the sound of his maracas.

Reiji Kotobuki: Welcome to Shining☆Radio, with our guest, Nattsun! We've got a crazy exciting announcement for you all. Natsuki Shinomiya: Some of our listeners may already have an idea about what it is. Well, let's get to it! Reiji Kotobuki: The next Shining Solo concert is gonna feature the two of us! I, Reiji Kotobuki, will be taking the stage! And my director will be... Natsuki Shinomiya: Me, Natsuki Shinomiya. I'll do everything I can to support Rei, so I hope you'll cheer us both on! Reiji Kotobuki: To think that the seventh one would have the two of us teaming up. Did any of you girls see this coming? Reiji Kotobuki: Nattsun has already been the star of one of these concerts, but I'm a total newbie, so my beat's hearting a mile a minute! Natsuki Shinomiya: I can hardly contain myself, too! We have to live up to Mister Myu and the others' performances! Reiji Kotobuki: Wait, I gotta live up to Myu? Take it easy on me, Nattsun! Reiji Kotobuki: Well, this is the second half of the eleven-person series, so I gotta make my mark! I'll pull out all the stops to dazzle everyone with my style of concert! Natsuki Shinomiya: Good work on the radio show! I enjoyed coming on as a guest. Reiji Kotobuki: Back at ya, Nattsun! Now that we've announced my solo concert, I'm curious what everyone's reaction will be. Natsuki Shinomiya: Oh, about that. It might be a little early, but I thought we could have our first meeting the day after tomorrow at three o' clock. Reiji Kotobuki: Three o' clock? I imagine I should be back in the office by then even if my job in the morning takes longer than expected. Natsuki Shinomiya: Exactly! I asked the office, and they said you were free, so I went ahead and scheduled it. Reiji Kotobuki: That was fast! I'm cool with it, of course, but I didn't realize you were so on the ball, Nattsun. I'm tickled pink to have such a competent director. Natsuki Shinomiya: I bet you could pull off the concert on your own, no matter how rough the groundwork is. Natsuki Shinomiya: But since I'm your director this time... Natsuki Shinomiya: ...I want to do everything I can to back you up, just like all the people who have helped me! Reiji Kotobuki: I'm stoked to hear that. Let's make it the best concert yet and blow the others out of the water! |

Reiji Kotobuki: We were supposed to meet at three in front of the clock tower in the park, so he should be here any minute now. Oh, there he is! Hey, Nattsun! Natsuki Shinomiya: Rei! I look forward to working with you today. Let's talk under the shade of that tree over there! Reiji Kotobuki: I didn't think we'd be meeting out under the clear blue sky with all this wonderful greenery. It's like an oasis in the middle of the city. Natsuki Shinomiya: I'm glad you like it. I thought we'd be able to come up with better ideas if we met in a more relaxing area. Reiji Kotobuki: That's just like you, Nattsun! Thanks for thinking of me. Sooo, about what I wanna do... Natsuki Shinomiya: What's that sketch? Oh, it's the design you want for the concert, isn't it? You're such a good artist, Rei! Reiji Kotobuki: Riiight? Keep the compliments coming! I just gotta add myself standing in the center of the stage with maracas, and...done! Natsuki Shinomiya: That's amazing! You know what you want your outfit to look like, too. When I close my eyes, I feel like I can see the concert playing out in front of me. Reiji Kotobuki: I never miss a chance to put my own twist on things if I can, so this is the kind of concert I wanna put on this time. Oh, and I wanna try this too. Reiji Kotobuki: Let's eat! Today's lunch is courtesy of Kotobuki Bento. When I dropped by the shop earlier, they had a special one ready for me to cheer me on. Natsuki Shinomiya: Your family business is amazing, Rei. Each bite is stuffed with homemade love. Reiji Kotobuki: That's the best compliment there is! My mom will be ecstatic to hear that. This thing is packed with food, so help yourself. Natsuki Shinomiya: Thank you! And for you, I have ham and cheese sandwiches. I made them myself. Reiji Kotobuki: You made these for me?! Really? Natsuki Shinomiya: Yep! I just got fresh ham and cheese from my family's farm yesterday. Go on and try one! Reiji Kotobuki: Yeah? Thanks! But, uh, my bento is so full I don't think I'll have room for... Mmgh?! Reiji Kotobuki: *Munch* Huh? This is...really good! Wow, it's crazy good! Natsuki Shinomiya: |Haha. I put out photographs for you to sign here on the desk. All that's left is for you to put your signature on them! Reiji Kotobuki: Wow, I wasn't expecting this. Everyone was up late yesterday for that shoot, but you kept working after that just to help me out? Reiji Kotobuki: I'm fine because I don't need much sleep, but you shouldn't push yourself like that, Nattsun. You look really sleepy. There's no fooling me! Natsuki Shinomiya: I'm fine. You take priority right now, Rei! I've been hearing how busy you are lately. Ryuya gave me a message for you. Natsuki Shinomiya: He said he's coming to see your concert and wanted to warn you not to take on too much by yourself. Reiji Kotobuki: Ahahaha, Ryuya really has me pegged, huh? Natsuki Shinomiya: Even the heaviest burden will get lighter if you share it with someone. I know I'm not as experienced as you, but I'm here for you. Reiji Kotobuki: No, you're a big help, Nattsun. Reiji Kotobuki: Hey, you three, you're being even quieter than usual. We're all together for once, so we should chat! Camus: Nonsense. We have nothing to discuss, so why waste our breath? Besides which, we see each other often enough these days. Reiji Kotobuki: Such swift rejection! I mean, you're not wrong, but we totally have stuff we could talk about! Liiike my solo concert, for one thing! Ranmaru Kurosaki: So, you just wanted an excuse to talk about yourself? Ai Mikaze: I had thought as much. Why not try offering him some encouraging words, Ranmaru? Ranmaru Kurosaki: Why me? Fine. I guess I'm vaguely interested in seein' how you two do. Me and Cecil managed to put on one heck of a show and all. Ai Mikaze: I was also happy to be matched with Masato and Tokiya. From what I could tell, working as Natsuki's director inspired you as well, right, Camus? Camus: He is a laid-back person, but he has a good sense for music and is rather skilled. I will not suffer a mediocre performance from you, Kotobuki. Reiji Kotobuki: Wait, what? Have we zipped past encouragement and gone straight to laying on the pressure?! Reiji Kotobuki: Still, you're right. You all worked together with your partners to create your concerts, trusting them to help you. All right! Then I will, too! |

Reiji Kotobuki: Thanks for coming to my lesson today. I'm gonna pretend you're my audience and sing my heart out! Reiji Kotobuki: "This song is just for you, my boy." Or something like that. Natsuki Shinomiya: Wow! I feel like I just got hit by cupid's arrow. I have you all to myself today, huh? Okay, I'm going to start up the track! Natsuki Shinomiya: Rei, that was super, super fun, but we're over our time limit. I think we need to leave it at a double encore. Reiji Kotobuki: Ack, I had a feeling! I guess I got carried away. We need to make sure the set list has some room to breathe in it Natsuki Shinomiya: Then why not turn the solo versions of these group songs into a medley instead? If you mix them together like this, then you can still keep the best parts. Natsuki Shinomiya: What do you think? This way, we can reduce the time they take and still preserve the overall vibe. Though it might be more physically exhausting for you. Reiji Kotobuki: Yeah, but doing a medley will help ramp up the excitement too, so I think it'll make things even more fun. Reiji Kotobuki: Would you mind ordering the arrangement, Nattsun? Natsuki Shinomiya: Will do! I'll get that done right away. We should make it so that you can improvise as much as you like, too. |

Natsuki Shinomiya: It's fine. Right, Rei? I'm sitting in on his lessons, too, when I have the time. Otoya Ittoki: Oh yeah? Well, that's good to hear. You looked like you were having so much fun when I happened to pass by, so I just had to stop and see. Otoya Ittoki: I'm so excited to see what your concert is going to be like. You seem super fired up about it, Rei. Reiji Kotobuki: That's because we've got all the major stuff nailed down already. I can just picture all my girls beaming away in the audience! Otoya Ittoki: Wow, that sounds nice. I bet I'll be bursting with energy right before my solo concert, too! Natsuki Shinomiya: I wonder who you'll be paired with, Otoya. The ones who haven't been a director yet are, uhhh... Otoya Ittoki: Wait, Natsuki! There aren't too many members left, so thinking about it will ruin the fun. I want it to be a surprise. Reiji Kotobuki: Nattsun, I'm so sorry! I didn't forget about the pamphlet, I promise. I just wasn't sure what to do for it, and before I knew it, time flew by and... Natsuki Shinomiya: It's fine, Rei. That only shows how much you trust me. Besides, we still have some time before the deadline. Reiji Kotobuki: You're so nice I'm gonna cry. It's a little late, but I thought of a good visual to use. I've got a rough draft here, so tell me what you think. Natsuki Shinomiya: Wooow, it feels so liberating! It's wonderful! It reminds me of the park where we met up. Reiji Kotobuki: Bingo! I tried thinking back a bit to get some inspiration, and this struck me like a light bulb. It's exactly what I was looking for! Reiji Kotobuki: The concert is gonna be packed with people and crazy busy, so I wanted the pamphlet to have a more relaxed feel to it. Reiji Kotobuki: I want to add in at least one more accent, but do you have any ideas, director Nattsun? Natsuki Shinomiya: Why not try adding a symbol that expresses your true feelings, Rei? That will get everyone's hearts pounding when they see it. Reiji Kotobuki: Nice. That's an awesome idea! Let's talk about where to put it after the photo shoot is over. Reiji Kotobuki: Sorry for asking you to double check my choreography this close to the performance. Natsuki Shinomiya: No, I don't mind. I'll explain everything to the sound and light technicians. Just relax and keep practicing. Reiji Kotobuki: You always find a way to answer all my demanding requests, Nattsun. Thank you so much. I don't know how I'll ever pay you back for everything you've done. Natsuki Shinomiya: Oh, actually, there is something I've been meaning to say, but I kept holding back. Reiji Kotobuki: Huh?
