Episode 1[]

Shiraai: You want to know my favorite food? What was it, now? I have forgotten. These days, I do not particularly need to eat.

Otoharu: You're like the opposite of Shonoshin. Just the other day, I thought he was practicing his disappearing technique, but he was only swiping inarizushi rolls!

Shiraai: What? He used a technique for something like that? Haha, he must really like the ones you make. They must be excellent.

Otoharu: Well, they're his favorite, so I've had a lot of practice making them. And they're Tenko's favorite, too! I can make some tomorrow if you'd like to try them.

Shiraai: I do not recall requesting such a thing, but if that is what you want to do, then feel free. I might try a bite if I am in the mood.

Episode 2[]

Shiraai: I hear a baby crying. Poor thing. The ones holding your hands have not the faintest idea what is making you wail so.

Shiraai: It must be bliss to live without hearing the voices in people's hearts. To live without being shut up in a place like this...

Shiraai: Humans are so fickle. They worship incarnations of gods, clinging to them sickeningly, all in an attempt to gain power far beyond them.

Shiraai: It was a mistake to offer myself to them out of pity. They desired me and yet feared me, terrified of coming closer. Until they stopped coming entirely.

Shiraai: I was nothing more than a caged bird. If they feared me, they should have freed me. I have no more need of their petty offerings of toys and distractions.

Episode 3[]

Shiraai: (I have never noticed how beautiful puddles are in the way that they glitter in the sunlight. Everything seems somehow different after coming here.)

Shiraai: (Oh, I should be more careful. If I return with muddy shoes, Otoharu and Shonoshin might scold me. They will likely call me a child again.)

Shiraai: (Hm, maybe I should return with some flowers. Or perhaps fresh herbs would be better. They tend to prefer more practical things, like food.)

Shiraai: Ren? Is it already time to return to the shrine? But I am not done enjoying myself. Could we not take a detour on the way back?

Shiraai: I sense tiny spirits in the air, now that the rain has let up. We should greet them together. I promise I will not scare them.
